Our fees, rebates & withdrawals

An easy process!

A Statement is issued during week 4 of every month. This will let you know what fees will be deducted for the following month. All fees are collected IN FULL during the first week of every month using our Ezidebit system. Fees are required in advance as most of our expenses are also paid in advance. Should you be experiencing financial difficulty, please see the director as continual lateness will attract a fee.

Our preferred method of payment is using the Ezidebit system as it is the quickest and easiest method. Should you wish to pay by cash* or cheque please place fees in the in the Mail Box at the sign in counter.

Fees remain payable during holidays and illness. Should you be going away or have a sick child, please phone the centre for catering purposes. (*If the reception area is unattended, please obtain a written receipt from staff authorised to take cash).

A non-refundable administration fee of $100.00 is payable along with a refundable holding deposit of $350.00 per child. This deposit will be refunded when your child leaves our centre.

*Please note: Fees are charged per room regardless of the age of the child.

Child Care Rebate

Everyone gets this if both parents are working, as is not means tested. The Child Care Rebate is a payment from the government that helps working families with the cost of childcare. If you are using approved childcare and meet the work-study test, the government covers 50 per cent of out-of-pocket child care expenses, up to an annual maximum of $7,500 per child. You can choose to have the CCR paid directly to our centre, reducing your weekly fees, or you can claim the CCR back in a quarterly lump sum. Every family regardless of their income is entitled to this assistance. For further details please speak to our Nominated Supervisor or contact FAO on 13 6150.

Child Care Benefit

The Child Care Benefit is means-tested. Child Care Benefit helps cover the cost of child care, including long day care, family day care, occasional day care, outside school hours care, vacation care, pre-school, and kindergarten. It may also help cover the cost of child care provided by grandparents, relatives, friends or nannies. The amount of Child Care Benefit you can get depends on the amount and type of care you use, your family's income, the number of children you have in care, and whether you meet the 'work, training, study test' (or an exemption applies).

Withdrawals / Change of Days

We require 2 weeks*notice should you withdraw your child or should you wish to change days. In the latter case, the Director should be informed and you may need to be placed on a waiting list until your required day becomes available. Fees are payable whether your child attends the Centre or not, however, should your child be sick or on holidays, please give us as much notice as possible for catering purposes.

*Should you wish to leave the centre during the month of December, you are required to give notice no later than 1st November or full fees will apply. This understanding is a condition of enrolment at the centre. This also excludes the 2 weeks we are closed over the Christmas break).
