Useful Resources & Links

In the community and around the home...

Over the years, we've collected a pile of resources which parents often ask us about - from speech therapists and Occupational therapy, through to some great recipes to get the kids eating healthy, and even places and things to do/see which we thought we'd share with you. We are not affiliated with any of these links/resources - it's just info that's crossed our desk and we thought you might find it useful.

Wannabees is a totally unique indoor play centre-this great, new family spot combines fun with learning. Wannabees is a mini city with 14 play and learn attractions. At each city location, children will learn about different jobs and professions through interactive, directed play. Kids choose from over 40 jobs- from fireman to hairdresser-put on a uniform and start their make-believe shift! Your little busy bee will spend about an hour learning and playing in their chosen occupation, then get paid pretend money and visit all the other locations in the city to “spend” it – save it in the bank, or find out what it could buy them at the shops and services. Session times last about three hours. Kids will play, learn, interact, develop new skills and use up lots of energy!
